Redemption (Epic v1.5)
The Paladin Epic v1.5 and v2.0 were introduced with Omens of War. If you do not have Fiery Defender (v1.0) you must obtain Couragebringer before you continue on to do this Quest.
The quest begins in Halls of Honor (the heart and the fist symbol next to Plane of Valor in PoP).
Irak Altil looks like he might have upgraded from just bones
1. If you are KoS in Halls of Honor I advise bringing a couple of Cloudy Potions (invisibility) or a friend that can invis because you will have to pass by about ten mobs to get to Irak Atil (0, -1350).
2.Hail, Irak Altil and he will tell you the sad story of his life (alot of repeating the text in the square brackets). Say 'What brings you here?', 'Like me to tell you', 'Lot to learn', 'Impress my new master', 'Where the story ends', 'Bad happened' and 'Remember little after that'.

3. Irak Altil says 'I have intermittent memories of being tormented and imprisoned in the Fear plane. I was stripped of my dignity and honor, and all that was left was a shade of my former self. Most of my vivid memories of that time consisted of unbearable flashes of pain. With whatever cognitive thought that remained, I prayed to Quellious to give me strength. That is when you came to my side and [saved me].' (From Fiery Avenger)
4. Say, 'Saved me', 'Outer planes', 'Unbelievable', 'Transformation', 'Consider', 'Honored', 'Require something of you', and finally 'Visions'.
You now must go out and find four souls that need your help and get their Soulstones:
Rithnok's Soulstone
Drema's Soulstone
Reiya's Soulstone
Redis' Soulstone
5. The Final Battle is Durunal the Cursebearer
Durunal the Cursebearer, is triggered upon zoning into Wall of Slaughter, with the four Soulstones on you. He spawns to the right of the gateway to Muramite Proving Ground. You should have an ample sized raid force before you trigger him. He despawns fairly quickly, if not engaged with a two hour reset.
He casts and AE gflux, so keep levitation spells up and Epoch Conviction so keep Magic Resistance buffs up. Mobs will spawn when during the fight so have enchanters or kiters ready. The Furious adds can be mezzed however the enraged ones must be kited. Kill him to 'A Dark and Twisted Sword'.
6. FINALLY return to Irak Altil in Halls of Honor and give him 'A Dark and Twisted Sword' to receive 'A Dark and Twisted Sword' container. Place the four completed Soulstones into the container and click combine to receive Redemption:
