Insignia Earring of Veracity

This Quest is started by Torsten Reidan in the Sanctus Seru and is the first of a series of quests that lead up to a very nice Earring. You will need decent Validus Custodus faction and you should be at least indifferent if you have not killed some of the guards. You can gain faction by killing vampyres in Tenebrous Mountains and by doing parts of this quest.

It is advised that before you start out on this quest you make 4 Bixie Crunchies (1 Bixie Part + 1 Frosting). Bixies in Rivervale drop the parts, but if you check the hobbit vendors you will probably find parts there also. Frosting can be found at Ironstove (-100, 275) in the Plane of Knowledge and the oven to cook them in Right around the corner in the store. Remember Bixie Crunchies are food so place them below your eating food so you do not eat them.

1. Find Torsten Reidan (-1000, -500) in the South East pyramid. Hail him and say 'What old friend?'. For times sake you might want to do Step 3 before the next step.

2. Head outside to Marus Seru and find Reothe in the North Eastern most Recuso Camp. Say 'Where is Bregun Dorey?' and 'What supplies?'. He wants two Bark Potions, a Spring Crystal, and a Harvest Crystal from Sanctus Seru.

3. Buy 2 Bark Potions (20pp), a Spring Crystal (1gp), and a Harvest Crystal (1pp) from Vassa Nar (-800, 500). There is also a bank across the way (look for guards outside.)

4. Return to Reothe and hand him all 4 items at once and he will tell you to head to the Netherbian Lairs. (You will probably want to buy a Dawnshroud Cider (800, -600) before you leave Sanctus Seru)

5. Zoning into Netherbian Lair from Sanctus Seru Legionnaire Dalini is just a little down the hallway. Hail him and say 'Where is Bregun Dorey?'. He will say he will tell you if you buy him a drink.

6. Buy a Dawnshroud Cider (57pp) in Sanctus Seru (800, -600) and hand it to Legionnaire Dalini back in Netherbian Lair. Bregun Dorey will spawn in the zone at the following position:

7. Bregun Dorey (-100 -375) will attack you if you are in combat with a Trogolyte. Hail Bregun Dorey and say 'Trog' , 'I am from Norrath' , 'I have heard of Rivervale' , 'Good?' and 'There are bixies around Rivervale'. Hand him your four Bixie Crunchies to receive a Bixie Charm.

8. Run back to Torsten Reidan, the original quest giver, and give him the Bixie Charm. Receive 'Sealed Note to Bregun'

9. Now run back to Bregun Dorey and give him the Note and receive 'Bregun's Directions'.

10. Head back to Torsten Reidan once more and hand in the directions to receive your Insignia Earring of Veracity:
