Runed Earring of Veracity

This Quest is a continuation of the Earring of Veracity quest. This the fourth part to this series of quests and is started by Tilbok Furrunner in Katta Castellum off of Tenebrous Mountains.

They all stare at the bookshelves, but never read

1. Tilbok Furrunner (-150, -2000, 75) is located in the building on the left as you approach the grave yard. Hail him and hand in your 'Replacement Report'.

2. Say 'What chambers?' and 'What kind of action?'. He will tell you to find Lcea Katta and ask her about the Arx Key.

Lcea Katta only lasts a few hours. I caught her right after a server reset.

3. Lcea Katta is located upstairs of the main huge building near the zone in from Frontier Mountain. From the front door head up the stairs and turn left, go straight and then take the left with the red carpet. She is standing all the way at the front of the church. She is the target of many guild raids because of her nice loot and has a 36 hour spawn timer. Hail her and say 'What is the Arx Key?'. She will tell you of your next mission and give you a jewel box.

Unfortunately there are no jewels in the box.

4. Head back to Sanctus Seru to kill the four Praesertum Leaders. Have a non-KOS check on the status of them. If they have not spawned you have three days to wait from the time they were last taken out. Since they are pretty heavily contested even to this day don't expect them to be up, but usually if one is up they are all up.

Getting Up There
The easiest way to get to the raid upstairs is to have a Mage run up invisible to the "safe room" (big room right as you get to the top landing) and CoH the raid up. Since they added the cool raiding ability to switch players in and out of groups it becomes even easier to pull people in and out of groups for CoH. Beware however that on the bottom floor of the North East pyramid a guard sees through invisibility and should be killed or trained to zone while the Mage sneaks by. Also be aware that most of the pyramids have a level 66 mob that will join the fight if you pull the mob guarding the flag portal. Pull the flag guard and mez it while you wait for the yellow tougher mob to join in.

The Praesertum

All four of the Praesertum Leaders send you to jail if you get within melee range so you MUST bring Pets, Nukers and Range attackers. If you are sent to you jail (which is located in the SW of the zone) it is pretty easy to escape just keep running North and then East towards the zone. The prefered way out however is to be Call of Hero'ed out by a Mage.

I would suggest 3 Mages with 3 Clerics healing each Mage Pet as a very safe number for this raid, but it is very doable with 2 Mages, 2 Clerics with other members of the raid healing and runing OR at a pinch just 3 Mages chaining pets. All four Praesertums are slowable and except for the bridle, drop mediocre loot.

Praesertum Bikun
(Shard of the Shoulder)
66 Warrior. Found at the top of the North West pyramid.

Praesertum Rhugol (Shard of the Eye)
66 Warrior. Found at the top of the North East pyramid.

Praesertum Vantorus (Shard of the Hand)
66 Warrior. Found at the top of the South West pyramid.

Praesertum Matpa (Shard of the Heart)
66 Enchanter. Found at the top of the South East pyramid. Tashes. Walks at 5%.

NB. Make sure you have an enchanter ready to mesmorize the two guards that stand outside his doorway since they will make short work of an unsuspecting raid.

5. Find Elnerick Augustleaf (130, 150) in the Katta Castellum's main building, Hail him and say 'I serve Katta'. Hand him all four Praesertum Shards to receive the Arx Key and a Seal.

Elnerick Augustleaf is the keymaster!

6. Place the Seal and your Runed Earring of Veracity in the jewel box Lcea Katta gave you and hit combine. Give the box back to Lcea Katta to receive:

Now this is awesome!

You now have access to Lord Inquisitor Seru's chambers and the chance to finally expel the corruption!
Oh and you get upgrade the Earring one more time too!
