This quest starts when you loot an Old Telescopic Lens from one of the Yapsnarls found in the East Steamfont Mountains outside Meldraths' Mine in the East of Steamfont.

1. After killing about 40 Kobolds you should get your Lens.

2. Head to Frugrin Observatory and down the stairs. On the left at the base is Vhizz Frugrin ( /way -955, 155, 740). (If you played EQ1 the Snakemen on the moon comment is particularly funny)

3. To find the Lens head to Enchanted Lands and North to Runnyeye. At the very bottom of the dungeon is The Chamber of Rulgax. After clearing the mobs Lord Rulgax will spawn.

4. Head back to Vhizz Frugrin in Steamfont Mountains. He now sends you off to get three elements:

- Everfrost - Head to Icespire Summit. In the last room kill until Karg Icebear spawns. Harvest crystals from the middle crystals.
- Lavastorm - Head to the Mage Spire where Tyrock Cleaver spawns ( /way -410, -30, -580 ).

- Steamfont Mountains - Head to the geyser and harvest inside it Wetlands ( /way -590, 70, 1,590 )

5. Return to Vhizz Frugrin and once he blows up he will ask you to find a key from a Grikbar outcast ( /way -1,195, 95, 1,300 ) (You need to speak Serilian to be able to talk to a Grikbar outcast). In the SouthEast corner is a slope leading up North and then East around the zone wall. He wants revenge for being made an outcast:

- Digmaster Pechpooka is located in the Grikbar Crater ( /way -110, 45, 1,185 )
- Slave Pechmooka is located in the tunnels outside the Mines of Meldrath instance ( /way -1,395, 85, 1,060 )
- Scout Pechyooka is located around the Dragonscale Hills he roams the area

6. Now that you have the key you can enter King Grikbar's Cavern which is in the Grikbar Crater on the South East side on a ledge ( /way -70, 80, 1,295 ).

7. Kill everything in the zone except the King on the bed to the right as you zone in. To activate him touch his food bucket. At 50% he will summon every mob in the zone to assist him.
