Runed Prayer Shawl
The Quest is started in Thurgadin by Betti Frostweaver in the Thurgadin Bank and the former six quests must be completed before this one can be started. Use www.eqtraders.com if you want to learn more about the recipes or any of the tradeskills.
Betti is found in the Thurgadin Bank
1. Give Betti Frostweaver your Embroidered Prayer Shawl. Next go to Gilthan Brittleblade also in the Bank area and also give him your Embroidered Prayer Shawl.
2. Head to Cobalt Scar and kill Sirens until you have a Runed Sea Shell. (You may also find these in the Bazaar anywhere from 100pp to 400pp. Make sure it is one with Enduring Breath).
Remember it must have the Effect: Enduring Breath
3. Head to Velketor's Labyrinth and kill spiders until you loot a Small Brick of Velium (also available in the Bazaar for about 50pp) and two Small Pieces of Velium (for step 14). Make 'Enchanted Velium Powder' in a Mortar and Pestle:

4. Make an 'Unfired Rune' in a Pottery Wheel:

5. Make a 'Blank Rune' in a kiln:

At 150 Pottery and 165 Wisdom it took me two expensive tries
6. Give the Blank Rune to Trademaster Kroven (also in the Thurgadin Exchange) to receive a Prayer to Brell. Say 'What Burin?'

7. Head to Sirens Grotto. Kill the spawn at the zone to Cobalt Scare until a Moltor spawns. Kill him until he drops a Moltor Hide (You might see them around the zone as well, but this is the easiest). Swim Right from the entrance through the tunnel and past the seahorses, jump out of the water on to the ledge on the left side (to avoid the seahorses they can't follow you out of the water) and kill 'A Servant Swordfish' until you get a Swordfish Tooth.
Probably one of the easiest mobs in the zone as they are straight melee
8. Head to Eastern Wastes and hunt Ulthorks to get an Ulthork Tusk.
9. Make a Burin a Fletching Kit:
Burin (Fletching trivial at 135).

10. Head back to the Grand Historian and say the following over and over again while walking around on the stage:
You must repeat this prayer exactly as it appears
11. You will receive a message when a Etched Rune Pattern spawns in front of the Grand Historian (Mine spawned when I was on the left side of stage after about 5 tries).
The bag in front of Thoridain is the 'Etched Rune Pattern'
12. Make an Etched Rune in a fletching kit. You receive your Burin back on failure.

13. Head to Grimthor Brewbeard in the brewery barrel in Thurgadin, give him the Etched Rune and say 'What cutlass fish oil?' to receive an extractor. Say 'What liquid velium?'.
If you have working on Brewing in Thurgadin you will know where Grimthor
14. Head East to Iceclad Oceans and fish until you get 3 Cutlass fish and combine them in the extractor (Trivial at 0) to make Cutlassfish Oil. Bait and a fishing rod can be bought in the Plane of Knowledge at Daeld Atand (10, 1400).
15. Head to Kael Drakkal (with a strong group) and to the Keep area and find Klaggan Iceshard or Vorken Iceshard. Kill them to loot Royal Kromrif Blood. Since the Blood is not NO DROP you can probably pick this up in the bazaar for a high price.

15. Head back to Thurgadin and the bar to buy a bottle of Rubbing Alcohol from Adia Coldbeard (loc -50, 100) and combine this with a Small Piece of Velium in the Brew Barrel to make Liquid Velium.
16. Make 'Sacred Velium Ink' in a brew barrel:

17. Create a Velium Etched Rune in a fletching kit:

18. Show the Velium Etched Rune to Talem Tucter in the Jewelery Store (Go right when entering Thurgadin and its the first shop on your left which has no sign post) to receive a Casing Pattern and say 'What casing?'.

20. Construst an Encased Velium Etched Rune in a Jewelery Kit:
